python - Why is Hello Magenta Colab failing with 'metadata-generation-failed' error? - Stack Overflow

I'm currently trying out to use the Magenta (music generation) library using python, starting from the official 'Hello Magenta' colab notebook (.ipynb). However, the colab notebook fails on the setup stage with metadata generation failed error.

This is the first block of code to be executed.
