Deployment of SQL Database timeout - Stack Overflow

admin2025-04-16  6

In the last 24 hours I've tried to deploy a SQL Database to a SQL Managed Instance. Deployment takes a very long time and ultimately all deployments receive a timeout error and the deployment fails.

I'm deploying the database through the azure portal, by going to the Managed SQL Instance and clicking on the new database option.

This the error I'm recieving: The operation timed out and automatically rolled back. Please retry the operation.

(Code: OperationTimedOut)
